We are all aware of the rise and fall of past civilisations but often don’t take time to reflect on where our modern world is on this cycle. In this insight, we consider the rise and fall of civilisations as a life cycle with recognisable phases—each phase distinguishable by characteristics that allow us to see where modern civilisation sits on the cycle.
